Ebay/Billpoint paranoid? Problems

I currently have 2 different eBay sellers holding my items until Billpoint
deposits the funds into their checking account. They have already been paid and
both acknowledge the money is in their Billpoint accounts, but they both insist
on waiting for the money to show up in the checking accounts.  I thought credit
cards were verified and charged before the funds were placed into accounts.  Is
this not the case and are these two people just being overly paranoid?

I would leave neutral feedback for these guys...not your fault they have
to wait for the money to be deposited...it's guaranteed, isn't it?

Wait until they leave feedback for you then give them the feedback they
deserve.  That way they won't react to it with the same for you.

yeah waiting for their feedback sounds like an idea...it would be billpoints

Hang on here people....read your billpoint contract.  It specifically states
that if the person decides to reverse the transaction (stop payment, however
you want to call it) Billpoint is NOT RESPONSIBLE, and WILL NOT refund your
money.  

I for one do NOT blame the sellers for waiting.  

Hey, here's an idea.  Try ASKING the sellers why they wanted to do it that way.
 Maybe they would have just told you....
