Problems with Signature Rookies

Problems with Signature Rookies

Post by Ron Tanak » Mon, 04 Dec 1995 04:00:00

Has anyone out there had problems with Signature Rookies regarding

1.  Long time intervals to return cards for the mail in cards

2.  Substitution of players other then the ones printed on the mail in
giving the dealer or collector a lesser player

3.  not sending back all the autos that you had sent mail ins for and
then claiming you never sent them in

4.  Claiming that they have your mails but now want copies of the
Certified Receipt.

5.  Collation problems when opening up cases or boxes of any of their
    product.

6.  Being misled on being a told a certain player was in the set...but
    really was not.

7.  Not being told that certain cards were not ever printed until after
    you bought the product...International Football

8.  How Mail Order Concept can get inserts that you couldn't pull one
of and you opened up many boxes or cases..ie draft day..draft Gems.

 Any comments would be appreciated.

 Thank you,
 Howard

Problems with Signature Rookies

OK, I admit it, I like Signature Rookies products. Normally I wouldn't
answer directly but I think the start of bad rumors happens this way. Then
again maybe I've just been lucky.
   Answers to Ron Tanaka"s questions
1.  Yes sometimes my cards took longer than expected but I always got them.

2.  Once when they said the had a problem with Tim Bowens signing his
football cards the offered me a better deal as a substitute.
3.  I sent everything in certified mail and never got beat. I've probably
sent them 25 - 30 packages.
4. If they had your mail why would they ask proof of it being sent ????
5.  Baseball Draft, Basketball Autobilia, and Football Draft had a nice
mix. I probably opened 20 boxes. I made 3 sets of the 100 card baseball
set.
6.  I never noticed any major players missing from what I expected..
7.  Never dealt with .......International Football
8.  Most of their inserts are tough. I did pull Nolan Ryan signed cards
twice from Baseball Draft last year. I saw others being dealt openly on the
net and AOL.

Excuse me but if I was ever worried about a company and had strong feelings
that something wasn't right I just wouldn't deal with them.
Just my 2 cents,
Vinny

Hey man, I hear ya. I sent off a redemption for a***ey Simpkins auto.
My only response was that they were behind and will give me my card later.
Included with this letter was a shaq and football promo. That was about
3 months ago.
Now, it also seems like Signature Rookies has passed my address to a
dealer because I received some ads from them today.
Clearly, Signature Rookies should be boycotted to teach them a lesson.
