Cuban Revolutionary Banknotes, from the Sierra Maestra...

I now have some One Peso notes printed during the mid-1950s by
President Castro and his forces in the Sierra Maestra to purchase food
from the campesinos.

Possession of this money was punishable by death by the forces of
Batista, so most of the notes were promptly destroyed after receipt.

Any thoughts on their value?

They are in very good condition.

Thanks!

Matthew

bids of around $10 or so.  I didn't pay attention to the closing bid.
