The difference is you don't have trolls bidding.

As far as I know, the only two Series of $2.oo US Notes were Series 1976 (which
offered all 12 Districts) and Series 1995, which offered only District 6/F
Atlanta, with the exception of a Special-Issue 12-District Star Notes offered
in sheets.

If you're willing to "live" with Series 1995, you can go to your bank and ask
for a 100-Note bundle of crisp, new $2.oo Bills.  And, they'll cost you only
Face Value.

Happy Hunting.

I thought that the $2 US Notes were discontinued with the 1963B series,  &
the 1976 & 1995's were Federal reserve notes.........

You misunderstood.  Of course, the 1976 & 1995 Series $2.oo Notes were FRNs.
The asker wanted $2 Notes "dated 1776 through 2002", which prompted my
response.  But lately, when I respond to a Poster about Notes, someone or other
always seems to come up with the reply "Not If Those Are Canadian Notes", so
now I clarify that my replies are concerning "US Notes", as in comparison to
"Canadian Notes", *not* in comparison to "FRNs".

Hope this clears it up for you.
