Gene is still so new, it may be hard for you to find one that needs TLC...
but, you never know! :)   I'd suggest contacting a local doll club, and
see if anyone from the club might hire you for some odd jobs, so you could
pick up a bit of cash to then buy a Gene! I know a friend who did
something similar years ago, when she wanted to get to a doll show! Good
luck, and have fun!

Another thing you might want to consider is contacting a local doll club or
group and arranging for some sort of trade.  It is possible that you might
have something they want, or else you might be able to do some sort of small
jobs in trade.  Good luck, Gene is a great doll!

PS. *** genes are commonly available in the $50-$60 range, which is the
best price I have found them for.  Hope it helps!

Please I just so desperately want a Gene doll, but being a young person with
no
means of income I can not afford any of these dolls.  Does anyone know of a
dealer that wants to sell a gene that needs TLC or do you yourself want to
sell
a doll that's gotten some wear and tear.  Please I can restore I just can't
pay
mint prices.
