I Have:

A set of 4 African American GI Joes (Pilot, Sailor, Marine, and Soldier)
All are signed by GI Joe creator and book author (the book in the set) Don
Lavine. $450.00. The box is signed as well as the book in the box.

I also have red heads Pilot, Sailor and soldier. All are signed by Don
Lavine. Red Heads are the most rare. $125.00 each

Also have Black Pilot, Sailor and Marine, all signed. $125.00 each

Because these are signed by Don Lavine they are limited editions.  They
cannot be returned to Target for refund.

I suggest you put those Joes somewhere safe and hold on the them for
20 or 30 years. I mean, if they are worth 2 to 3 times their retail value
in only a week because the author signed them, just think what they will
be worth later. You might even be able to get a thousand each by
Christmas! I can only imagine how thrilled the authors would have been if
they knew what your intentions were as they signed those books. You really
capture the spirit of G.I.Joe, the great American hero. God bless you.

For someone who has all the guy's autographs, you are spelling his name
wrong -- it is Levine not Lavine.

Thank you for correcting that spelling error.  I am at work and do not
have access to those Joes at that are at home.  But, you are correct, it
is spelled Levine.  He is a nice man, and I told him that because of his
invention, he made my childhood more rewarding.

He said that he signed approximately 100 Joes per sitting (Target), and he
planned to do 15 to 20 autograph sessions total.  I estimate that 1500 to
2000 Joes will get signed.  Surely that should add some value to the
figures.

Maybe I made a mistake with my original post value, perhaps 1/2 that value
would be fair.  Also, feel free to correct my spelling at anytime, because
my spelling is atroshios (Spelling?) and need constant improvement.

Thanks,
