WTB Any series Unimat and/or Emco Maier Lathe, Mill, and accessories.

Don't hesitate to call or email if you have any type of accessories, or even
if you only have misc. parts.  I'm trying to put a Unimat kit together for my
own use.  I'd even consider buying whole "kits" to get the parts I need, if
the price is reasonable.

I'm also interested in a Maximat Super 11 Lathe and Mill combo in the western
US.

Thanks,

Steve

 We have a common problem.
I also have a Unimat ( the small one made in Austria) and I gave up
looking for belts and the 3 jaws  chuck.

I replaced the motor with a gear down that I fond at the local flea
market. Lost the convenience of variable speed but works better than
the original one.

I have contacted the local hobby shops and one of them has told me
that there is a australian company negotiating with Austria in order
to restart  the manufacturing of the units.

If I have any more information I will let you know, pease do the same.

I hope we are talking about the same Unimat.

Mel

The above parts are available from Blue Ridge.

I just bought a 3-jaw chuck from Sherline, It has a M14x1 spindle thread
and actually has a larger capacity than the Unimat chuck (Sherline part
# 1031)

Quite a few Unimat accessories show up at auction on Ebay.  Just do a search for
Unimat.

In those instances where a Sherline part has the same attachment thread as an
old, obsolete Unimat part, the Sherline part is certainly to be preferred.

If you can stand the competition (price) Ebay almost always
has Unimats at auction.  Sometimes attachments and misc. parts.

Hi,

Both my Unimats have a 12x1 mm spinel. Did you make an
adapter (12x1 - 14-1 mm)? And if so, please enlighten us on
how well it made came out, and how you did it.
Thanks.
