OT: Wonderful news

That news is so wonderful that it beats everyone winning a year's free
supply of the worlds best chocolate!  I'm so glad for you.
My mother called 2 nights ago saying that there was a story on the evening
news about a breakthrough drug originally for leukemia that has had
wonderful results in BC and other forms.   It targets only the affected
cells.  I wish I had heard the name, but I hope they are able to help more
people with it soon!

Chipper,

The new drug is Gleevec (Glivec in Europe).  In addition to lukemia, it
is showing great promise on an almost always fatal intestinal cancer.
There are some websites with good info.  Don't have the urls though,
because DH found them and bookmarked them under his user id.
