Computer overheating

Computer overheating

Post by Christina in O » Fri, 27 May 2005 03:11:31

may not be able to get on and check the group for a few weeks..
We are having overheating problems with the computer, parts will need to be
ordered..

for now its not too hot yet, and I can post.

Dh will look at it over the weekend and will try to pin point the problem,
then buy parts..

sometime I am able to get on for a little amount of time, others I can't get
the silly thing to boot, or it freezes up right after booting up.
will do what I can until its fixed

Make sure while your DH is in there poking around that you vaccuum out any
dust/fur/paper you find inside the computer, and make sure all connections
are firmly seated in their sockets.
Best wishes,
Carey

Good advice! Although I tend to think Christina does her own poking around
:-)
