OT: Bad news - good news

Hello all -

First I would like to say thank you for all of your posts, they really
lifted me up.  The official word is in:  I did miscarry.  So now I'm
trying to heal - in all aspects.

That's the bad news...the good news is:

In order to help me dwell on other things (and eventually get a business
off the ground) my DH took it upon himself to order (well, and buy) a
new Grape iMac, memory for it (more memory than my programmer husband
has now) and a scanner.  So....I'm learning how to use the scanner and
enjoying the ease of the iMac.  Now I just need a house with a sewing
room and a quilting program that allows me to scan fabrics into
it..............

So, again - thank you for all of your happy thoughts and prayers - and
especially the hugs.  I only wish they could have been in person -
they'd help me heal faster.  <sigh>

First, I'm sorry about your sad news...

But...I'm so glad there's another mac user here!!!  I've had my iMac (the
first, teal color) for a few months now and I love it!  Enjoy playing with yours.

One of these days DH and I will have to get a scanner.

Sue,
Sorry for your loss.  Remember that God has a plan and it was just not meant to
be right now.  We will all be keeping you in our prayers.

I'm so sorry.  I miscarried a year and a half ago and am still going through
the healing process.  Take it slow, be kind to yourself  and don't let
anyone try to trivialize the feelings you are experiencing.

I'm not sure people try to trivialize the loss. My experience (3 times) has been
that people just don't know what to say so their condolances, while meant to be
uplifting, just come out sounding a bit "wrong". I am so sorry that this has
happened.
