Hi Helen in Hamilton, Ontario.

I don't live in the Finger Lakes, but I'm not far.....Batavia.  There are a few
of us in this area.  If you told me what LQS's you have on your list, I could
tell you if you have missed any.  2 good ones are Patricia's in Fairport  (East
Rochester) and Material Rewards in Dansville.  Maybe we could manage to meet
while you are here.

And there is Pam's in Webster, Fabrics, Etc in Canandaigua (sp?) and a few
in Penn Yan that I have yet to explore with the exception of the Quilt Room
which has a very small assortment of fabrics meaning about 50-100 bolts.

Marilyn--who wouldn't mind meeting up with everyone again

So, Helen, when are you coming to the cottage?  Let us know which stores you
have on your list so we don't just give you the same names all over again.
If you want to stop at places on the way there or back there are even more
to pick from.  Hope we can get together.  Wouldn't it be a hoot if you were
here at the same time as LN?  It will give her even bigger numbers of
RCTQers that she's met!

Well, Marilynn, I still have (somewhere) my map for those 2 places in
PennYan.  And this time I probably won't get as lost either!

Kia Ora,

Yes, there are several of us here who live in "Godzone", New
Zealand......oh, you weren't meaning HERE after all.  Great disappointment.
HOW can you settle for the Finger Lakes if you haven't seen New Zealand
first?

Actually, we had American guests here (stitchers, not quilters) a few weeks
ago who spend vacations in the Finger Lakes region, and I'm completely aware
of both WHERE you're referring to, and HOW you feel about them.  Our guests
were similarly enraptured by the region.  BUT they said NZ was so beautiful
they'll be back.

100 degrees?

Lawks - they put the heating back on at work yesterday for heavens
sake!

Its done nothing but rain for the last few days, we've had
thunderstorms that don't clear the air, and I'm developing webbed feet
again...

Tell me again - what does BLUE sky look like in the desert?

Just found it on the map spelled Livonia. Which is correct? Does my aunt not
know how to spell the town where her house is or is my map program loopy?
