As my friends here on RCTQ you have shared my ups and downs with me, you
have been to a family wedding, and met our new grandson. Now here is
something else I would like to share with you.

We are to have our own real live "Millenium Bug/Bugess" on January 1st or
2nd !!!!!!!!

Although Owen will not be quite a year old, he is to have his very own
brother or sister, and to put the icing on the cake our little family in the
UK are coming to live here in Holland with us !! We hope that they will be
here in September. We were moving back to the UK to be closer to them but
due to a different situation arising, they are coming to be closer to us!

Yes we will be cramped for a little while until they find a house, but so
what, our hearts are large enough to fit them all in.

Please raise your glass and wish them well in their move and for the safe
delivery of the forthcoming " partner in crime" for Owen.

Jeanette is drinking champagne, Wanda Sue just popped open a grape Nehi, Joe
Bob is hoisting a Lone Star long neck, and FiFi and I are having a wee drop of
Jameson's to honor your request of raising high the glass!!!

Great news. Our kids and grandkids moved north to be around us several
years ago. It was fun having them and helping them get started again. It's
definitly worth the close quarters for awhile knowing that those wee ones
will be close enough to hug !!!

Connie, that's wonderful about the baby. Congratulations. New babies
are THE most fun... for anyone.

However.....purist that I am, I can't resist pointing out that while
the Y2K bug is expected to arrive next January 1, the millenium won't,
until Jan.1, 2001.

***ia thanks for all your good wishes, and I am certainly not going to be
throwing rocks at the moment.<G> Have a "slight" headache at the moment ,
but I doubt if our DIL will keep her legs crossed until 2001 LOL !!!!! I
just HOPE that if they have a daughter they don't clle her Millie, sorry to
all the Millies on the group!!!! Now what would be suitable for this new
little one, I thought of Patience, of which I lack in plenty, Honesty, to
give us the truth all time, Hope for the purpose of a new future, and
Charity to give us all an example of where Charity starts, at home.

OK Now I have sorted out girls name what about boys names. BTW I have as
much chance of naming this child as I have of finishing everythng that is a

Hi Singer, I had collected 120 packs of squares for three quilts with all
the sashing, one for me and Grand dad ( No one ever told me I would be
sleeping with a Grand dad one day!) also one each for my two sons, well I
have to try and rearrange all the squares just to get two more quilts made
up for the little ones ARGH!!!!!!!!!! Still being a grandma has its
benefits, I get to cuddle and hold the child without someone telling me
"watch their head, burp them, fill the teat etc", Been there done that
bought the tee shirt and still wear it despite the various stains from the
juice, spaghetti LOL Regards ConnieD.

Hi Connie,
Congratulations on your forthcoming grandchild. I do hope all goes well with
the birth of the little one. Please give my best wishes to the family. I do
