Off to camp! :) (Not OT)

I'm taking a short break from busily packing up my "stuff" for quilt
camp right now. I've already packed up my Princess Aurora (my SM) and
most of the class supplies I'll need, and I'm now waiting for the
laundry to dry so I can pack a few changes of clothing. <G>

Two friends (those of you who went to Houston last year may remember
Diana and Gwen) and I are off first thing in the morning for a fun five
days in cool Flagstaff, AZ. I'm leaving my fearsome twosome (Tuppence
and Dexter) in DH's capable hands -- they'll all guard my rather meager
stash while I'm away. ;)

I *may* have internet access, but I don't know how much time I'll have
to use it. <g> So I'm sending prayers and good thoughts to all who will
need them, and I'm happy dancing in advance for all of the wonderful
"finishings" that will occur while I'm away.

Don't have *too* much fun while I'm gone! :)

Sandy,

I can't wait to hear about this year's retreat. You always come back with a
real work of art! Who are you taking classes from this year?

Thanks so much, Louise! <blush> I'm thinking I was probably slightly
insane, because I signed up for four one-day classes this year, all of
them "project" classes, rather than technique classes. Yikes! I'm taking
two classes from Pam Holland (a landscape and her drappliqu thing), one
class from Cynthia England (her featherweight picture, paper-pieced),
one class from Jan Krentz (Hunter's Star). I should be busy. ;)

Sandy I hope you have tons of fun and learn lots of good stuff to come back
and share with us. Give the fearsome twosome a big hug for me before you
leave and tell them I said hi.

Hope you have a really great time, Sandy.
Don't worry about starting four projects, you don't have to finish them
immediately!  We don't expect miracles >g<
I, too, am eagerly awaiting the results, though, as your previous camp
pieces of work are so splendid.
I saw Jan Krentz speaking about Hunter's Star on one of the Simply
Quilts tapes  It achieves great effects without being too complicated -
it seemed!
Looking forward very much to hearing all about the 'week'. Take care.
