Finished - oh happy day!

I finally finished the Hawaiian appliqu sampler I have been working on for
the past three years.  I bit off a bit more than I could chew at the time,
but it did help me learn a lot of new techniques.

I have posted pics of the back and the front, so you could admire my machine
quilting skills.  I have gotten much better since I began.

I'm off to have a drink now.  I can't wait until Friday, when DH's grandma
will finally get her year 2000 Christmas gift!  Hope she likes it (and isn't
enough of a quilter to spot the mistakes!)  Finished is definitely better
than perfect.

Jennifer,
It is absolutely beautiful!  I love your fabric choices for your applique
pieces.  Your quilting looks very intricate for echo quilting.  I am
thoroughly impressed.  I'm sure your DH's grandma will love it!

Yippee!! That's a lot of effort! And it shows. Absolutely marvelous!
I love the dolphins, and are those crabs? Center-top?  Giggles
I am just now laying out the fabric to fold to do my first Hawaiian applique
block.  Sure hope I do as well as you! Congratulations!
