I started a quilt upon rush order from my *** son ," Mom
everyone has a school colors quilt or throw blankie Please , Please can you
make me one before the 21st of this month." <mom BG> DS goes thru all my
quilting books Saturday night picks a Snails Trail pattern wait and a Seesaw
pattern as the border. Sunday morning  DS & I go to the fabric store he
picks his fabrics. ( I do love an enthusiastic child)  Anyway I work night
and day as much as I can assembling the blocks..... we lay the blocks out
and darned if I haven't gotten some pieces out of place .  DS looks at it
and Says hey mom I like it better this way. I hugged him what a child Gotta
love him . No rippit here. Now to sew the blocks together and put on the
Fleece backing ,before the 21st , his next outdoor band contest.  <sigh>

Your son sounds like a dream child but does he realize how lucky he is to
have a mom who will jump through hoops for him?

Well, this kid is lucky to have this special Mom---and I should know.  I got
to meet Diana when her DS's HS played my DS's HS in football a couple of
weeks ago.  My DS was on the Homecoming Court so I got to meet Diana in my
mother-of-the-court/escort finery!  We looked good IMHO!
And she is a very good mom!

What a great kid, and you're a fine Mom. He'll always remember you doing
this for him.
