Found a new fabric store in Redwood City, CA

For all of you Northern Californians (and visitors from everywhere, too),
members of my quilting class introduced me to Adams Notions on Broadway in
Redwood City.  The owner, an older woman, is trying to reduce her stock to
one store (there are currently two), so every Thursday, Friday and
Saturday, EVERYTHING is 50% off.  She has things from the 60's to
contemporary prints, velvets, trims, brocades, quilting materials, you
name it.

The only thing is, she is older and it takes her awhile, but believe me,
it's worth it.  She opens around 11.

She has been having this "stock reduction so I can move into one store"
for the 3 1/2 years I have lived here.  :-)  You can buy all kinds of
odd things here including buttons from the 1950's with 25 cents printed
on the cardboard backing.  There are cool things, but check your fabric
very carefully before buying as the quality really varies.

True about the quality, but that's the case just about everywhere.  I
think she may be like a lot of us - needs to reduce stock, but just can't
resist the new stuff!
