Finished a couple more couch quilts:

Should be the last 2 photos. The split 9-patch was my
leaders-and-enders project for quite a while, made of 2" patches (4.5"
blocks), with a sawtooth border of 1.5" HSTs. Every bit of the top
came from the S***Basket. Which of course is just as full as it
always was, but contains hardly any 2" strips!

Roberta,

Both of those quilts are delightfully scrappy--my favorite kind!  You
have a real knack for putting the colors together so that they play very
well together.  The tiny sawtooth border is just stunning, and the
border on Sampler for Jan is a perfect finish to the quilt.  Jan's a
lucky gal!

Best regards,
Michelle in Nevada

Oh me.  Both have a very compelling effect on my condition which is, of
course, to take a nap at any time the notion strikes me.  Wonderful quilts,
Roberta ... but you knew that I would love them.  Polly

They're both wonderful! Funny thing about those s***baskets. They
need better chaperones.
