So Stripey is acting all pitiful and demanding much attention, and who
can blame her.
She can't see the vet just yet because we don't have the money for it.
Both school age kids have been home sick all day.
DH picked up the wrong size staples for the staple gun so work on my
studio has stalled.
It has poured rain all day with heavy rain predicted for tomorrow
morning and heavy snow for tomorrow afternoon.

And now DD2 has called to tell me that her ex-boyfriend just moved to
North Carolina, which happens to be where she is currently living.
When she broke up with this guy two years ago he whined at her for
over a year. Heck he whined at _me_ for a good six months. Then he
quit calling her and turned into stalker boy, showing up anywhere he
thought she might be, even sitting in his car watching her house until
she called the police on him.  She thought she had gotten rid of him
completely by moving so far away.  Though he took to calling her again
the first few months she lived there.

I want a do-over.

NightMist
gonna make me a redwitch and watch about a zillion animaes in Japanese
with subtitles.

The anime I understand. Both my sons are in a club for anime fans. The
older one has a library of "released only in Japan" stuff to die for.
But what is a redwitch??? Do you eat it, drink it, wear it, shut out
the world with it?????

Seriously, wish I could send you more than just hugs and comfort. Hang
in there. I always hate it when people say "This, too, shall pass." But
it's usually true. Even though sometimes the passing seems to take
forever. Hang in there and remember that you have quilty friends who
are pulling for you and Stripey.

Hugs,
Sunny

Night Mist,

So sorry about your "stressful" day...ahem.  I know some days I just wish
I'd stayed in bed!

I find it especially alarming that your DD2's stalker ex-boyfriend has moved
to NC.  Does she have a restraining order?

Hope the Japanese animae do the trick and you can relax a little.

Tell her she can chuck my anti-christ at him if he shows up. That ought to
put him out of commision for good.

DD3 is starting to swap with online friends to get some of the harder
to get animaes.  She is in an Inuyasha themed guild on neopets.  She
is language oriented too, and is keen to learn Japanese.  I've gotten
her one of the learn Japanese mangas for Yule.

A redwitch is a pint of (hard) cider with a dash of blackcurrent and a
shot of pernod. Somebody mentioned them in a another group which
reminded me of how fond of them I am.  Fortunately I also remember why
I quit drinking them and will abide by the rule of only one or two a
night.

Hugs and comfort totally work.

I mostly post this sort of day just to vent, bug good advice and hugs
are always more than welcome.

Stres comes to find you even if you are hiding under the covers.
It's tricky like that.

If she did get one (which I told her to do, but doubt she did) it
would only be good in this particular county in NY.  She will have to
get one down there if he contacts her.  She has a way of dating
perfectly normal seeming guys who just lose their minds and turn into
complete whackos when she breaks up with them.  I am hoping that the
guy she is with now works out for the long haul.  I like him better
than most of the guys she has dated previously too.

*** and animae while covered in cats.
Relaxed enough so I at least didn't chew my tongue raw when I went to
bed after.

"Some loser gets a crush on you, you could throw him in the river tied
to a piano, he'd come back faster than a dog with a bone."

I'm thinking that even if you buried him this bozo would dig his way
out and be back sobbing on her doorstep.  I've told her to keep her
eyes peeled and call the police if she so much as sees his shadow.
Current boyfriend's sister is a cop so she at least has good advice
for that kind of situation close to hand.

Suggest to your daughter, that sit down and write the ex-boyfriend
physical description down on paper, and whatever she may know about the
type car he drives, etc. Any oddball or unusual things about him.
History of past stalking, dates of that, etc. If she gets in a tense
situation and needs to call the law enforcement out, having these
details and facts written down will save her from trying to sort
through a panicky mind to give them this info.
