Philadelphia Area Quilt Show February 1-3

A Yahoo Group that I belong to that is making a Greyhound Quilt (we're
all contributing blocks) to be raffled to raise money for a local
greyhound adoption group in NJ just had a posting with this topic. I
thought I'd share it for the benefit of our NJ, DE, and PA quilters.

I've never been (here or any quilt show)...wonder if it is any good?
Think I am going to go though, and drag along DH.

I got a postcard from these folks a few weeks ago.I'm debating whether or
not to go,too,since there'll be a local(Cherry Hill)show the next weekend.

Darn!  I'll be away.  Anything else coming up in Philadelphia area soon?  Any
guilds having workshops that are still open?

Look below to Melissa's post. It's pretty easy to find off of Rt.295.
It's a pretty big show for the local guild.Lots of quilts, lots of local
vendors. The only gripe I have with it is the parking is a bit limited. But
with the new car,we'll be parking out in East Jebbip.

Post by Welmoed Sisso » Sun, 27 Jan 2002 06:08:12

I just faxed in my registration... they still had space in Mary
Pierson's Square in a Square Stew class. Now I'm looking for hotels...
there seem to be a lot of B&B's in the area so that's what I'll be
looking for. In any case, I will be wandering the show floor after the
class lets out at 7pm (the floor closes at 10) and then on Saturday;
I'll be leaving for home in the early afternoon. I figure that gives
me enough shopping time...hah!

So if any RCTQers are interested in getting together, maybe for lunch
Saturday?
