Just simple crochet. Start out with chain 2, single crochet in 2nd chain
from hook, *chain 1, turn each row.
2sc in sc,
sc in 1st sc 2sc in last sc,
sc in each of first 2, 2 sc in last sc*
Sc in each sc, 2 sc in last repeat until there are 10sc, ch 1 turn*
sk first sc sc in each , chain 1 turn* repeat until there is 1 end off
leaving longish end for sewing pieces together.
Each star gradually increases to 10 sc and then goes back to 1sc.
Each star has 3 solid and 3 variegated diamonds and 6 white to be sewn
around the basic star to make a hexagon,
That's the basic block.
So from what I know that you know, you can easily do this. And yes, I still
have started a diamond over cause I didn't get the beginning to look 'right'
after all that practice: )
Butterfly (that should whet your appetite)
I like 'em! I remember the diamond shapes as you were doing some of
them. Someday I want to be able to do something like that.
