greetings all!  i finished four preemie quilts for tiina today!  and i got
seven more basted together for quilting.  there are three whimsy huts and one
log cabin, all free pieced.  my husband donated two velvety soft flannel shirts
for backing.   two of them i hand-quilted earlier this week, the other two i
machine quilted today.  my hand quilting leaves a LOT to be desired, but i
enjoyed it and i hope the babies will be happy.  the bindings are on, now time
to do the dance about how i feel!  now what did everybody else finish???
babalu!

I am ashamed to say that I only finished ONE quilt....the one for my new
grandbaby coming in March.  It was my first attempt at machine
quilting.....stippled the outside border.  Had already machine quilted the
straight lines in the middle of the quilt, and the middle border I hand
quilted last week (it was a little complicated for a beginning machine
quilter).  ut it is done....with months to spare.  YEAH!

PS will do a preemie for Tiina today now that I have the machine quilting
under control.

I had a productive finish it day too (not AS productive as yours though). I
finished DD's quilt. It had been on and off my machine for about two months (just
the quilting was needed).
Not to happy with it. Used my walking foot and still got some puckering. I think I
needed more pins in the basting process. Well, now I know better. This was my first
quilted project. I had always tied until now.

I can't wait to start my next project. Maybe another finish it day??
