Went to the festival that was here.  Was kewl.  Worked on my jewelry, but no
one bought.  Okay, I hoped, but that wasn't the point.

By the time I got there, I was overheated.  I really didn't get better
sitting out at the park the whole time, plus I forgot to bring the roll of
quarters sitting on the desk, so I couldn't buy water.

Started to walk back home, and was *so* dizzy.  I had called Ken for a ride,
he had asked for 10 minutes, but he didn't know where the park was, so I was
going to get to a part that he knew, then call him again.

Saw the owner of CocoAnnie's, which had told me at one time that I could put
my jewelry in her store (and I was going to work on the frame of a
display...that didn't work out...bleh).  She asked if I was ready to put my
stuff in right then!!!  Oh, I wish I could, but I was really unsteady on my
feet, but we went through some of the stuff.  She even tried on a necklace,
and was e***d.  She told me I need to up some of my prices...so that is
what I am going to work on, after I sleep just a little more.  I am going to
bring her some tomorrow to put in, and see how it goes.

Went and ate at a stuffed potatoe place...found out the *** stamp store
next door is going out of business, starting next week.  Poor
things...starting next week, 25% off.

Got home, and a box was sitting there.  My lampwork kit!!!  Barely got to go
through it, I was still *so* sick...eating was not the right thing to
do...not that I was nauseaus (sp), but just was not sitting right.  So I
crashed.  I *really* need to go back to bed, so I will tell you all what
this wonderful person put in for me after I get up.

Then my boyfriend got an email from Mavis.  She asked him if she could send
me almost 20 lbs of small pieces of glass.  I don't remember telling her
that I was into lampworking, but I guess that I did somewhere along the way.
She said that it was pieces that she doesn't need any more now, but as a
beginner, she would have *loved* to have this.  (and the angel was mailed
out yesterday, so I should have it in my hands in a few days...)

At this point, all I can say is *wow*.  And I am almost too tired to say
that.

If anyone has any suggestions as to the ones I should put in, please post
them or email me.  And please tell me what I should put the prices at!!!

and I just realized that the title is a pun.  LOL.

Your illness sounds like it's from the heat ... I've gotten queasy like
that after too much time in the sun, or too much exertion on a day in
the 90s. I hope you're better after a rest.

But it sounds like you are on the edge of a good opportunity. How neat
that serendipity brought the shop owner you knew to the right place at
the right time. Since she knows her own customers, and the local
competition, she might be the best advisor on price setting.

Enjoy your new toy. (Heh, like you need someone to tell you to enjoy
it...) But keep your fingerprints!

stitches, and they grew back!!!  I was showing it to my boyfriend the other
day (he knew, just never really looked)...it totally amazed him!!!
