Bead store in Las Vegas

Bead store in Las Vegas

Howdee, When I was in Las vegas last May, I went to two bead stores that I
found in their yellow pages.  The two stores were very different in their
stock, but both very nice.  The first one was called Beads Plus.  The
address is 4750 West Sahara Avenue.  All you have to do is go north up the
strip past Circus Circus until you get to Sahara Ave.  Turn left(west) and
follow to 4750.  It is in a strip mall.  This store had beautiful things.
I remember they had a lot of the painted peruvian beads of unusual
types-different from the ones I've seen before.  They also had a lot of
handmade contempary beads (fused and dichroic too).  As long as you are in
the area you might as well continue west over to Decatur Rd., turn north
and go to Vegas Dr. and turn right along the north side of the golf
course.  There you will find Sigfreid and Roy's house on the left.
Actually it is a compound- both sides of the street.  You can't miss it.
It's the white moorish castle with the white tigers on top of all the
pillars in the fence.  Maybe you aren't into tigers and illusion so, the
next bead store I went to was Love R Beads.  The address is 4250 S.
Rainbow #1004.  You just go west on Flamingo from the strip (Bally's north
side is on Flamingo.  Keep going on Flamingo until you get to Rainbow.
Turn left and it is in a strip mall on your left like near a grocery store
I think.  I remember a bakery 'cuz I went in to get a Snapple 'cuz it was
very HOT outside.  This store had a lot of very nice Czech and German
glass beads.  They also had free instruction flyers.  I picked one up on
wire wrapping. The other place that I went to in Vegas for earrings stuff
was in Caesar's Palace Forum Shops.  There is a shop on the left side of
the animated fountain (as you are coming in to the shops from the Mirage
where you can go and see the real white tigers in the Mirage lobby), come
on into the shops on the moving sidewalk and continue on to the fountain
with the chubby Caesar and his gods in it.  If you have never been there
before, the fountain was designed by Disney and comes alive every 30
minutes.  Even the muscles in his belly move.  They talk, too. Anyway, to
the left of the fountain is a shop FILLED with niobium earrings.  I got
several pairs at a very cheap price, took them apart and used the
components.  They also had some inexpensive dichroic and fused glass
earrings that I did the same thing with.  I hope you have a good trip and
that this info has been helpful.  H3
