Does anyone have directions on how to make a Rosary?

Does anyone have some good directions on how to make a Rosary? Does any
of the normal bead sources also sell the crucifixes and medals that are
part of a traditional set of Rosary beads?

Thank you,

David Dumas

Hi David,

If you're near LA, go visit Bohemian Crystal. Was just there yesterday
and bugging them again about making a catalog. They sell all the stuff
for making rosaries, and are known for their Swarovski crystal beads.
FYI,
213/627-9553
Fax 213/627=6991

They do mail order.

Here are the directions out of the book "Best Little Beading Book", a
great new book by Wendy Simpson Conner:

You can link your Rosary with simple loops.  Your pattern is l0 main
beads, one jump ring, one spacer bead, one jump ring,  then repeat this
sequence 3 more times.  Then finish with 10 main beads again.  Connect the
two ends with 2 jump rings on each side.  Make a sequence of 5 more beads,
attach one end to your crucifix, and the other end to the 2 jump rings.

For more detailed instructions, you'll have to see the book - it's really
great!
