Just placed first bead order....

On monsterslayer.com!

I ordered mostly SS Bali findings...anybody care to offer their opinions of
the website? I had been checking it out the last few days, picking out what
I wanted and saw a post today by someone saying they preferred it to FMG and
that clinched it for me; I placed my order via email.

Eek! This is definitely my first time buying something online that I hadn't
already seen in person! I usually only buy things online from websites of
stores I have been in, or amazon.com but with books I've already seen.

Thanks in advance for any experiences with this site!

Amy--

I adore monsterslayer.com.  Best place for findings, if you ask me.  I never
bought their Bali, but I have bought jumprings, headpins, etc.  PROMPT and
terrific service.

Well I submitted my credit card info on their secure server and ... well, I
hit the submit button anyway. Still waiting for the page to submit. Hrm. Not
sure if there is 'net congestion or what. Kinda worried that my credit card
info is flying all over *** space
thanks for responding though!

Amy,

Relax.  Monsterslayer is wonderful, and I've never had a bad experience with
them.  Never heard of anyone else having a bad experience with them, either.

Their prices are great, and every item I've ordered from them is even nicer
than it appeared on the web site.  Last time, I ordered their faux turquoise
beads, and the order taker person made a special point of letting me know
that "faux" means fake, and that the beads weren't as nice as real
turquoise.  Actually, the beads looked great, and the price couldn't be
beat.  Still, I appreciated their honesty.

At about the same time, I had ordered some faux turquoise beads from FMG.
These were worlds apart from the ones from Monsterslayer -- they look like
they were stamped from recycled dog toys.  The kids liked them, but they
didn't think that these things looked like turquoise either, they thought I
had made them from Fimo.

Let us know when your stuff from Monsterslayer arrives.  I bet you're going
to be thrilled. The only downsides from ordering online are that it isn't
instant gratification, and that such a ***y package represents so much
money.

You can't go wrong with monsterslayer.  They're truly terrific.  I buy all my
Bali beads from them now, as well as as findings and stuff.  Recently I bought
some of those hammered silver beads.  Y'all, they are GORGEOUS.  And so
durable, too.  They look so beautiful next to Swarovski.  Monsterslayer
products and service are great.  -- Beckie

Prompt service and shipping. Love their Bali-style stuff. It's actually from
India or Turkey unless otherwise stated, but have always found the quality
to be top-notch.

Another bit of praise for Monsterslayer - I order from them fairly often, but recently
placed an order with both Rio Grande and Monsterslayer on the same day. I received the
package from Monsterslayer before Rio Grand had even charged my credit card!

Sooz, after reading all your posts on Silamide I have finally ordered some.
It arrived a couple of days ago but haven't had time to play yet. Lovely
colours too!
