The group at the Bead Talk list is putting a Bead Aide shipment of supplies
together to send to her. Here's the message she posted soon after the fire:
> > "I really feel uncomfortable asking for donations. I had some
> I'll be OK. If people have stuff they want to get rid of, well wonderful!
> I'd also be willing to purchase collections particularly of old beads that
> people don't want to keep."
> "I mostly work with smaller seed beads (Japanese 15/o, C***tes, Czech
> 15/o), also some DBs, handmade glass beads, pearls, turquoise and semi
> precious of all kinds, trade beads, heishe, interesting cabs, etc. I
> use much of the fire-polish or glass crystals. I lost a very nice
> collection of antique 18/o - 24/o seed beads and also the old steel cut
> anodized aluminum beads-- that stuff will be really hard to replace."
I have her mailing address and anyone interested in sending some beads can
contact me for it.
