If you live within driving distance of Newark, this is a GREAT show!!  They
have something for everyone.  Great trade beads, vintage glass, some Czech
glass strands for $4.00 a strand in leaves, ladybugs, etc., some Western
inspired stuff, jade, amazing seed bead mixes, charms, Tibetan stuff, great
dichroic and lampworked glass, beading supplies and books. Dealers are friendly
and helpful.  It does get a little crowded, but it's worth it. AND there's a
Bennigan's across the street, what more could you want?

I'll second this and add it that there is no sales tax in Delaware and that I
am driving from the southern new jersey area on the 20th and would be glad to
carpool -- I'll drive!

BJ
Where do you live?  I'm in Lawrenceville (mercer county).
Do you belong to any of the NJ bead societies?

I live just outside Ocean City.. No most of the bead societies are too far
away or meet when I can't.  I am a member of the Jersey Cape Atltantic Chapter
of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. (national insists we put the Inc.)
and am their resident bead expert.  Will be teaching my African style vertical
netting necklace at the April EGA meeting.

Well...I say pass up the Bennigans - on the same street, going toward the
University and center of Newark, there is a Vietnamese restaurant, Klondike
Kate's with great American fare, Grass Roots with delicious and healthy food, a
restaurant and brewery...and around the corner are TWO Indian restaurants.  You
wouldn't catch me in a chain restaurant for all the beads in China with all
those choices around!

I do enjoy this show, and although I live within an hour's drive I usually make
hotel reservations and make a weekend of it.  There are lots of cool little
shops in Newark, and my favorite used book store is only a few miles away on
Rt. 13.
