HELP ! Need Decals PLEASE

Post by LRobin99 » Sat, 11 Jul 1998 04:00:00

I am looking for a 1/72 microscale sheet that has Letters and
   numbers in light blue.
I do not have a Number for this sheet but am sure ive seen it.
If someone knows where i can find this sheet or a sheet like it i would
be grateful.  I need small letters about 1/4 inch high.
                                          Thanks

If you can't find a commercial product, and all you need is letters & numbers,
then making your own decal sheet is easy enough.  1/4" is 18pt - paint by
numbers time :)

1) pick a type font you like
2) set up a single sheet in Word97
3) populate it with the numbers & words/letters you need.  There are 72 points
per inch, so you should be able to get the exact size you want fairly easily.
4) select a font color
5) save the file
6) take the file to your local Kinkos and print it to their Fiery XJ/
Docucolor40 color printer/copier using blank decal stock.

The blank decal sheets can be bought from Micromark
(http://www.micromark.com/) for around $1.30US a sheet.  Buy the clear stock
in the 25 pack - it's the most cost effective if you pull this trick more than
once.
