Just sitting here watching Farscape marathon on Sci Fi and scribing on the
1/48 Monogram Cobra, and I was getting a lot of burrs, Polishing out with
sandpaper didnt help much, and instead of making huge trenches with my
scribe tool by digging it out, I touched a brushload of Tamiya extra thin
cement to the scribe line and that took care of 90% of the burrs and crud I
had left.
Now Im actually happy with with my scribe lines!

Try this.  After scribing the lines, give the surface a once-over with
000 or 0000 steel wool.  Best I've done yet.

Another tip is try using superglue accelerator.  I use the Testors stuff &
it works great.
