Well folks heres what I got.  First off this isn't an either or kit, you get
enough parts to build two complete planes from the  -2 to the -6.either as a
pair, or two of a different - number. In other words I got a complete -3 kit
and a complete -5 kit and and extra  3411-9000 and 3412-9000 fuselage bags with
all the type specific parts. You don't get a set of instructions for the -5 but
you do get a seperate sheet of conversion instructions to add a twin gun mount
to a -3/4 and to add the HS prop to complete the -4.  Then you have tons of
spare parts left over.  The decals for the -3 are for B15 off the Enterprise
(CV-6) at Midway and generic -4 off the Ranger (CV-4)/Sangamon (CVE-30) during
Operation Torch. The decals provide all the Accurate Miniature bits plus the
other markings and have good color and registration. You have a choice of  6
inch or 8 inch yellow surrounds for the fuselage insignia. A seperate full
color decal placement guide sheet is provided for each aircraft. The original
kit decals are not included..I don't know if this is what comes in the kits
Squadron has since my box states "'Pre-Release Kit' includes parts for 2
complete SBD kits"  however I got my $36 bucks worth.
Cheers,
Rick Wilkes

Hi, Pete. Mine arrived today as well. It's kind of a coinincidence,
because I had palced the order about 2 months ago and was talking
about when it AM was going to fill the order today at the hobby shop.
I came home and there it was!

To answer your question, it was a special advertised on the AM home
page.

Regards,
Chuck C.

I just talked to AM and the parts to complete two aircraft was the bonus for
those that ordered early direct from them. So I wouldn't expect that in the
kits Squadron is selling. However you could contact AM directly and see if they
have any or the pre release sets still available
