Anyone have any reference pics or know of someplace on the web where I can find
some?  I'm building Start's T-40 and replacing the rivet detail.  I have
Zaloga's article in Military Modeling but I'm lacking Overhead pics and am
unsure where to place some of the rivets.  any help is appreciated.

Interesting animal you picked there. Somebody say the British invented Specialist
tanks? Eeeeeh wrong! The Soviets did.

Try this place, It sometimes loads Sloooooowly but keep trying. It is good stuff.
It might also be a good idea to save some of the pages and pictures off line
because the server is sometimes down or congested but the material is way the best
I have seen on the internet. There are some nice shots of the riveting on the rear
end of the T-40.

P. S. I also seem to remember that I have a very few snaps of this thing in some
"Obscura Maxima" Russian armour mags I blundered into at various book and model
shops here in Munich. Can't unsder stand a word of the text but the PIX are great.
If you are interested I could have a looksee and mail you some scans if I find
something interesting, can't promise though but who knows. Mailme: at

There is a reasonably good set of plans and some photos in a
Modelist-Konstruktor "Bronyekollektsiya" issue on the T-40 and T-60 light
tanks, but it's hard to find.
