And nowhere on the site does it even infer anything new is happening,
just selling off the last of any inventory.  Nothing to get worked up
over...

But it makes such a great header, especially if you SHOUT LOUD ENOUGH!

Don't you just love the internet?

It's just a clearance sale of the remaining miscellaneous stuff they have
laying around.  Not much there unless you want decal sheets or some small
helos (I thought their helos were actually 1/100 scale, not 1/72).  Hardly
qualifies as being "back" in my book.

An interesting thing is that bottom of the home page says "Copyright 2002
Hobby Investors, LLC" instead of "2001 Accurate Miniatures" as on the online
build page.  Also, the address on the order form is in Concord NC, whereas
all my kits have an address of C***te, NC for AM.  Finally, both the
order form and the new home page call the kits "Accurate Hobby" kits, not
Accurate Miniatures.  I'm wondering if their new management could just be a
liquidation company.  Interestingly, there is on phone or fax number on the
contact page.

And check out their shipping charges at the bottom of the order sheet.

Minimum order $15.00, minimum shipping charge 30% or $16.00 minimum to
Canada.
I was thinking about getting one of the G gunship conversions, but not
at that price.

Like everyone else has said, it's just someone else selling off the
remaining stock.

I think what everyone is confused about is the statement on the mail
page.

If you go here http://accuratehobbykits.com/

They changed the "We Made History" to "We are back!"

As a sale, it's not great, but I like having the online builds again.
This time, I'm going to save them before the site goes down again.
Unfortunately, they don't have the build for the TBF/TBM with the odd
turret trick.

The online builds never left!!!!

AM told Steve Stohr of North American Hobbies (who took over their truckload
at the NATs) that we could post them on Scale Allied Warbirds.  They are
even their in PDF Format.
