World series?  Baseball?  Hmmm.  Certainly you must mean you're going to build
a diorama of the ballpark with the teams playing the game......right?!

Well, it's now Diamondbacks 2 games, Yankees 0 games. And Curt & Randy
can each go again. I think we're in a pretty good position. We have
proven ourselves worthy opponents, much to the dismay of the New York
press. I sat next to some NY fans at Sunday's game, and they were fun
and respectful, as I hope our fans are and will be. Yankees haven't
seen our big guns Durazo, Delucci and Colbrun yet. Yes, I know what
happened in 1996, so we won't be overconfident. I just like the looks
of 2-0. New York, please don't take this beating personally.

Yup, that's what the Atlanta Braves fams said when the Yankees lost the opening
two games to the Braves and then took them in 4 straight.

Personally I think this might just go at least 6. Chiefly because I'm highly
suspect of Arizona starters after the Big Two. Still Yanks will have to beat
one of them at least once.

You ask "who"? Ah, a true baseball fan! They happen to be the most
effective pinch-hitting combo in the history of baseball. Remember
those names, son.

I don't know combo, but three great pinch hitters that I saw were Smokey
Burgess (Pirates), Gates Brown (Tigers) and Bernie Carbo (BoSox).

My D'Backs sure screwed up tonight.  Why oh why did Brenley pull Schilling
going into the 8th.  This was what we D'Back fans feared - getting into the
bullpen.

We lost the game in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th innings, not the 9th &
10th. If I were Brenley last night I would have sat that f**** piece
of sh** Williams down, along with Grace, Gonzo, Finley, Miller, &
Sanders and put in Bell, Colbrun, Batista, Moeller and a fan picked at
random. We could not have squandered more opportunities than we did.
The biggest load is Mr. Prima Donna Fair Haired Boy Matt 'I can't hit
when it counts" Williams. He brings the whole team DOWN. It's like
having a combat commander that you have no faith in.
Anyway, The D-backs are in it. We still have a great chance, and we
have proved a worthy opponent. And now we can win it at home!
