Today, a friend has told me that she purchased some Harry Potter fabric
panels for bed quilts. I was wondering whether anyone knows of an online
outlet for these as I and my friend, Trish, are*** out to get
some!!!

Apparently, you can get panels featuring Harry, Hagrid, Hermione, Ron
and Hedwig (I *love* owls!). If anyone can give us any pointers, please
email!!! ASAP!!! (How exciting!)

Hi Trish! I did a quick search of Joann fabrics. They have 5,
yes FIVE, different patterns, and one with just Hedwig on it! :) They
are all $6.99/yard and 100% cotton, cold wash. Here's the link:

Hello Yve,
the wall*** is splendid and I remembered my young niece being fond of
Harry Potter. An idea of Christmas gift began to raise.
BUT no, no ,no they say they won't sell outside USA... I'm saved in
extremis before enlarging my stash ! but I simply HAVE to verify in my LNS
if they don't have such items. Once I got caught by a fabric, a chart, ...
there's nothing else to do than go shopping.-)

The Australian Kmart has a ready-made quilt and pillow cover available on-line:

IIRC, U.S. Kmarts are also carrying lots of sheet sets, so perhaps they're in
Australian B&M Kmarts, too.

our hancock fabrics has some panels and 'hogwarts' fabric with the 4 house
symbols (?) on it. i dont remember the price, and i never did actually see
the hogwarts fabric, just the sample they had on the wall.

i found quite a bit of harry potter fabric at my local walmart for
$4.97/yd.....they are just about out of it now....but they did have three or
four different patterns....they are also selling it online at joann.com, so
perhaps they have it in the joann stores too.....hth anyone looking for it....

I found HP fabric at WalMart's - and bought the "H" panel as well as one with
the crests for the 4 houses (Slytherin, Griffindor, etc.). Also couldn't
resist the white fabric with the blue swirls and little Hedwigs everywhere! I
then proceeded to my local quilt shop and found some great fabrics with swirly
blues, purples, gold swirls and stars, etc. that will make a great quilt!!
Now, if someone could just put off Christmas for another few months more.....

oh, i know that feeling. i have a baby sampler to get done before the kid
turns 1 (friend is due tomorrow.... and i just thought to do a sampler for
her this week :/ don't know where my head has been.) then i NEED to get
fairy flora finished for my grandma. she's been so patient. just a little
bit more stitching, backstich and beads to go and i'm all done. i think i
can get it done for christmas... i think... i hope... yes, i know i can!

You *are* going to post a picture of this wonderful-sounding quilt
when it's done, aren't you? I'll even do the scanning of a print photo
and donate some of my Web space allotment! :-)
