Looking for knitting scarf pattern with heart trim

Post by JanVanOrm » Sun, 01 Feb 2004 22:10:50

While shopping a few days ago, I saw another shopper wearing a
hand-knit scarf that I fell in love with. I have been hunting since
then in vain for the pattern and was wondering if it anyone else is
familar with it.  The scarf is knitted, a plain pattern, wide but not
too long, meant to be warn over a coat.  The unique feature was that
the edging, above the fringe, was a row of individual hearts.  If
anyone knows this pattern, please email me or post here the details,
e.g name of pattern book, web site link, magazine - and I will take it
from there.

Thanks in advance,
Jan

I can't help you, Jan, but I am not above stopping people in the street or
store and asking them about it. Usually I get positive results.

Well, yes! Of course you say lots of nice things about it. Then they want to
share the pattern. <g>

Hi Jan,

If the scarf was a plain stitch one, just find a chart with hearts and put them
in it. That shouldn't be too hard. Sorry I don't have an exact pattern for you.
You might try searching google.

Hugs,

Nora
