OT: Number of messages on Rctn.

     My ISP started numbering rctn messages at 1, and just keeps going.
We are now up to about 422,900.  For the past few years, I have noted to
number around Jan 1st, so I can keep tabs on yearly totals.  For previous
years the number of posts in the year have been;  1997,  78,000;  1998,
83,000; 1999,  79,800.  I suspect I see pretty well all the posts.  For
2000, the number of posts was 82,100, or about 225 posts per day.  Hope
this of interest to a few of you.
