OT: Netscape users: help please!

I've finally gotten my Netscape prefs set up as I (think) I remember
them. The only thing is that the font in my message window (ie the
<Reply> one) is so tiny I can hardly read it! I can't find a place that
will enable me to enlarge the font so that I can see what I'm typing.
I've tried the ordinary <prefs> options and even the Windows settings
for <Display> but with no success. I'm currently typing in what I think
is 8 pt Courier. I would *like* to be typing in 12 pt Arial...

If you can help, would you please email me? I'm gonna be bald before the
evening's through!!!!

Trish,

What version of Netscape do you use?  I dunno that I can help, but
knowing the version might make a bit of a difference (?).  For instance,
I use the antiquated (sp?) Netscape 3.04 for its newsreader and Netscape
6.2.1 for the browser.

Sweet Stitching!!!

I don't know what Netscape version you're using.. but I can go to
preferences, appearance, fonts to change that :)

Hi Trish:

Cari's answer is the one - Edit, Preferences, appearance, font.  Oh, and
while you're there, if you haven't cleared the cache in awhile, you can
always go to Edit, Preferences, Advanced (click on the plus), Cache,
Clear Disc Cache.  That's a good habit to get into anyway since even the
little cookies eventually add up to a lot of space on the hard drive.

Trish,

Try going to "Preferences" from Edit on your menu bar.  Once you are
there, click on "Appearance" then click on "Font". You
should be able to change the font and/or size of the font.  You might
have to try a few fonts or sizes to see what is large enough
to read.  Good Luck!

Thanks so much to everyone who has tried to help! I do appreciate it
when people are so happy to offer assistance!

I've *been* 'Edit, Preferences, Appearance, Font' in the first instance,
but this didn't change what was happening in the 'Reply' window.
*Some*thing I've done has improved matters (it was in the Control Panel,
but seemed to have no relationship to the normal settings one can make)
and the Reply windows are now OK. Thing is, my message window settings
are now skew-whiff and in a completely weird font that looks like
Chicago but isn't! Hnnnh!

I'm convinced that Windows is possessed and wish more than ever that I
could have a nice, simple Macintosh that never does nonsense like this!

Well, it could be Windows or it could be the program.  I use FreeAgent
for newsgroups and I like it so much better than anything I've seen.
Easy to Ignore threads, and my reply window is 14 point Arial..
