Oh happy day!

I was at Wal-Mart with Mum yesterday and checked the magazine rack on a
whim.  And what do you think I saw? *angelic music in the background*  My
very own ornament issue :-)  I will spend the next week drooling over the
designs as I decide who will get what this year.

I found it at my local Shoppers Drug Mart in Nova Scotia. Great issue. Can't
wait to start some new designs

You can't be around the GTA - I swear for such a large city Toronto is way
behind the times on magazines !  I looked at Walmart on Saturday night -
nothing.  I'd imagine we might get it somewhere around here by the end of
the month.  *chuckles*

Anyone in downtown Toronto check out the Worlds Biggest Bookstore yet ?
Sometimes they get it before regular Chapters/Indigo...

*sigh*  I didn't need more distractions anyway :)

Paula,

I can't pick just ONE design as my favorite!  I think the Just Nan is
gorgeous, but I also love the designs by The Samplar Workes, Elizabeth's
Designs and Threads Through Time (pgs 12-13), Imaginating, Inc. (pg 16-17),
Kitty & Me (Lucy looks beautiful, Pam!) and Something In Common (pgs 20-21),
Marie's Garden (pgs 22-23), Graphs by Barbara & Cheryl, Inc and Earth
Threads (pgs 24-25).  Now to decide which one to do first!

Found 2002 Ornament Issue in Canada!

Picked this up yesterday.  Just a quick browse left me with a list of about
22 designs that I want to do.  I guess I will have to whittle that down just
a little bit if I want to have a realistic chance of finishing everything on
the list.  I love the Lese Steele design; very elegant looking.  I also
liked the little ski hat from Moss Creek although a quick skim of the
directions leave me doubting whether I will do that one.  It may make sense
if I start to stitch it but I think it looks simpler than it actually is.  I
already bought the charm for the Just Nan piece I think it is kind of neat
that you do the mini picture over one and frame it in the charm.  I am NOT
going to use the gingham fabric though, I find it very distracting..

Yes, I picked it up today in the Worlds Biggest Bookstore.  It's where
all the quilting magazines are.
