I have a crocheted cotten bedspread in a popcorn octogon pattern that my
mother did more than 50 years ago. As a child, I remember its ecru color
was always lovely. Since my mother's death at a young age and my father's
subsequent remarriage, the bedspread was been wrapped in a zippered
plastic case. Upon opening it after my father's death, some blocks are
lighter than the rest. I know they weren't that way when I was younger.
Can I soak it in something to restore the color.
PS: Forgive my impatience, but I will post this on the textiles.yarn
newsgroup so I can get an answer. So don't flame me. I am heartbroken
