Ok Olga has asked me to stitch for her store, but for right now I just
want to stitch for me and family.  Maybe sometime in the future.  Olga
is a neat lady.  I live in Baytown.  Would love to meet up with you

We may already have. I sit and stitch in the afternoons at least once or twice
a week at the store. I'm the one working on the hardanger piece....
See ya!

I haven't been in a while, the lns in league city is closer but I am
dying to go back to Stitch Craft as I like her selection of fabric
more.  And I would love to see your hardanger piece.  I love doing
hardanger.  I hope we can get a few of us houston area people together
one afternoon.

There's already a group of Houston area stitchers who get together once
a month. Many of us met here on RCTN, and some are from other internet
stitching groups. We meet at a shop called 3 Stitches (7822 Louetta) on
the north side of Houston. Those of us who live down here on the south
end of town usually stop in at Olga's shop on the way for a little extra
stash enhancement. I hadn't been posting our meeting dates here recently
because the group has grown fairly large, and we pretty well fill up the
stitching area at the back of the shop. Anyone who is interested is
certainly welcome, though.

Our next meeting is Saturday, September 16. If you want to go out to
lunch, meet at 3 Stitches by 11:30. We always tell the ladies at the
shop where we've gone in case someone is a little late. After lunch, we
get back to the shop around 1:00 to stitch, visit, and share our
finished pieces.

I live about 2 mi west of the Galleria - so Stitchcraft is definitely the
closest LNS to me!

I'd love to get together - will be back from Orlando (and DD's wedding) on
Sept 7 and will check back in then.......

Susie - We may have met.   The Family Tree that was*** at Olga's for a
few months was mine.  When I had to take it to its home I promised Olga she
could hang Dragon Ride when I get it finished and framed.  DD's wedding
piece is at the framer now - I pick it up tomorrow and then head for Orlando
on Sunday.

June -  Can't make the 16th - that is our Boy Scout Troop Family Campout,
and while I DON'T camp, I AM advancement chairperson and need to be there
for the Court of Honor.   Maybe next time...
