I am so glad I took a couple of days to cross southern Florida, and
visit her; probably a year or so before her death. She was tied down
with oxygen, 24/7 but refused to let it hold her back. We totally
disagreed on all things political, but were totally with the same
thoughts about other subjects.

It wasn't a big place, but her walls were covered with lovely pieces
of stitching. Many were cross-stitch, but more were needlepoint. She
loved the colour blue, so that was in many of the works.

I just hope that if her belongings went for auction, her needlework got
new and appreciative new homes.

I miss her!

Why my executor is a needleworker.  Someone who'll see to it that the
needlework is preserved in some fashion.
