Looking for opinions - Blended Needle

Good day!

I am seriously considering The Blended Needle for fabric to stitch MLI's
'Fairy Grandmother' on.  How have you found the quality of the Color Blooms
and how was the customer service (delivery time, resolution to any problems,
etc)?

Your wisdom and recommendations are appreciated.

I placed an order with them on Jul. 28, and have heard or received exactly
nothing. I knew they would not be shipping orders until after C***te Market,
but I think this is getting to be ridiculous. Consider giving Silkweaver (
www.silkweaver.com ) a try. I have placed many (Many!) orders with them, and
have always received my fabric very quickly. They also have superb customer
service!

Mandy, not affiliated, just a very satisfied customer!

Mellissa:

While I have only stitched one design on fabric from The Blended Needle, I
have several more pieces in my stash just waiting for me to find some time
to stitch for myself.

The fabric is soft, washable, and doesn't smell or spread flakes of dye all
over whatever I am wearing while I stitch.  If you are find you can not
decide which of two or three colors of fabric you prefer, send Michele a
SSAE and tell her what colors, count, and type of fabric you are
considering.  She will send you a small swatch of each one so you can
actually see and feel the fabric for yourself before you by.

There was very little fabric shipped by The Blended Needle in late July, due
to the loss of many batches of dyed fabric that wouldn't dry properly in the
extreme heat.  Then came the trade show in C***te, which lasted less than
a week, but when you have to drive all the way from the west coast to the
east coast and back again with two children under three years of age (one of
whom became quiet sick), you can understand why another three week period
went by without there being very much fabric shipped.

The Blended Needle is a small and new (by most standards) family run
business.  It well deserves your support and patience.  If you purchase
fabric from them, you will be assured of great fabric and personal
attention.

Rita Liesch (a very satisfied customer)

I think you'll be totally pleased with every aspect of the business
association you will have with Michelle at Blended Needle.  She takes
good care of her customers and provides an excellent product!  Enjoy!

Best Stitches,

I am actually stitching a model on a piece of fabric from The Blended
Needle.  I really enjoy stitching on this fabric as the dye didn't harden
the material, it isn't turning my floss or my hands colors as I work and the
color is very nice.  Resolutions to problems I cannot answer on this piece
of fabric as I wasn't the one who ordered it, the designer I stitch for
ordered it and sent it to me.

However, I did order a dolloly from them (via telephone as I didn't care for
their email ordering system) and had it in my hands in 48 hours.  I am sure
that this made a difference as it was a stock item and not a hand dyed
fabric that could have it's own reign of terror during the process!

I will definitely be ordering some of Michele's other fabric for my own
projects once I collect enough money!

I bought a piece of their fabric through my LNS, and it is just lovely; a
beautiful colour, and so soft that it makes me sorry that I will be working
this piece in a frame!
