Due to an overwhelming reply (ok, two e-mails and one post), I'm posting
this information about the wool grower my wife uses.

Disclaimer: I receive no, none, notta, zip, zilch reimbur***t for any
sales made--this person is a friend and provides my wife with wool.  You
may take complaints about net.abuse and file them directly to /dev/null.
This isn't exactly a green card lottery.  I'm moderately certain that
most spinners would like to know a wool grower so that they may bypass
the expensive costs at other places.

She raises her own natural-colored sheep, Angorra goats, and Angorra
rabbits.  She uses natural dyes that she makes herself by mucking about
in the hills and picking flowers.  She's easy to deal with and can
give you wool uncarded, carded, undyed, or whatever.  Her carded wool
is great for spinning because it's free of knots and burrs.  She is
set up to ship wool and has a pricing structure at hand.

Hell no!  Nearly 400 people voted within the last month to establish
rec.crafts.marketplace -just- so we wouldn't be subjected to everyone's whim
of what's an 'acceptable' ad.  So if you're just bursting with the desire to
share your comemrcial information, there's now a perfectly acceptable forum to
do it, stay off -this- group!  The gall...
