I-cord and wire

Has anyone made I-cord with wire?  If so, what kind and what gauge?

Has anyone made I-cord with yarn strung with beads (like seed beads)?
How did you do this?

Please post details.

I-cord and wire

Have done I-cord strung with pearls in crochet, but not in knitting.  Let
me know if that's what you want as it makes a corded pearl necklace.  Joy

I-cord and wire

Nope, it's on my "someday" list, but

Yes, this I have done.  I used a loosely knit, fine wool i-cord and
wooden beads with large holes.  The end of the i-cord was closed
drawstring fashion using a tapestry needle.  I threaded beads inside the
tube by opening the drawstring end, outside by closing it.  I alternated
inside beads with outside beads and placed an overhand knot in the cord
after each bead.  Made a very nice, lightweight necklace, vaguely
reminiscent of the late 60's-early '70's.  With glitzier yarns and
beads, it might not look so "earthy." BTW the i-cord was made on a
hobby-knit cord knitter, not by hand.

... If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?
