Classic Stitches does not currently have a U.S. distributor.  You can
contact them through their web page to order a single copy.  It's a great
magazine!  Marjorie

Has Anyone Seen Classic Stitches in Houston?

All Houstonians, I'm on a mission to find a copy
of Classic Stitches in Houston.  Usually Bookstop
has most of the British magazines, but this one
they don't have.  Has anyone seen it?  Where?

TIA

I *thought* I saw it at Borders (Meyerland) last year -- I
was working my way through the British mags & it was on the
list.

But lately, when I saw someone post that Classic Stitches wasn't
in the US at all, I checked Borders again, and it wasn't there --
they were also missing a couple of others they carried before, so
I don't know whether it was my imagination that I saw it in the
first place, or whether they just aren't carrying it any more.

Barnes & Noble on Holcombe (at Buffalo Speedway) also carried
more needlework magazines when they first opened than they do
now.  And Bookstop's were looking a little thin, too, last week.
I'm not sure I like this trend at all...

Actually, I got email from Melissa in Beaumont, who said she
saw it in a Barnes & Noble in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, so
you probably DID see it.

Yes, there are no B&N's in my neck of the woods, only Bookstop,
and they DO look a bit thin!

Thanks for the reply!
