Crochet Coat Hanger Cover

I was at a craft fair this morning and at one of the booths were coat hangers
covered with a shell stitch and chain in between the top and bottom.  I asked
the woman where she got the pattern and she told me it was her friends booth so
she didn't know.  I couldn't see where she has sewn it on the hanger either. I
checked google, but only find the regular hanger pattern.  This hanger is the
one that you can also hang a scarf or slacks on the long part and the blouse or
jacket on top. I know I'm not describing this too well, but maybe someone can
help. The yarn was worsted weight that I could tell.

I wish I could help Nora, it sounds pretty!

I have found that when you ask someone at a craft fair about the pattern,
they either say what the lady told you "This is my friend's booth, I don't
know where she got the pattern.", or "Oh gee, I can't remember now, sorry."
I have the feeling that a lot of them don't want to share the information
so the person will buy the item instead.  There was one lady at a craft
fair I attended one year, who was more than happy to share the pattern for
an item with me.... in fact she took my mailing address and wrote the
pattern out for me and mailed it to me.  That was a few years ago when
Matthew was very little.

Nora,

they are probably not the patterns you are looking for, but
here is the link anyway.

Petra,

Thanks for looking but they aren't quite what I saw.  I may have to try and
make one myself next year.  The lady was charging $5.00 for it and I didn't
think it was worth quite that much, but now I wish I had bought one.

Thanks for all the sites, but still didn't find that one.  I know if I ever see
one for sale again, I'll grab it and see how it was done.
