Banko del Peru 1721 & 1723

Banko del Peru 1721 & 1723

Recently I acquired two coins or tokens that say Banko del Peru.  One
of which is triangular in shape and is from 1721 and the other is a
trapezoid and is from 1723.  Both pieces say solido de oro. They
appear to be of a good quality cast brass.   So far, I have been told
that there was no bank of Peru in those years and that banko is not
the correct Spanish spelling of bank.  Some thoughts on what these
might be are *** tokens or counting tokens.  Does anyone know
anything about these?  Thanks in advance for any information.
