Sac cartel? (Sorry if a repost!)

Just wondering if the quarter cartel will be exerting their
considerable influence over the number of new dollar coins finding
their way into circulation.

Also, will the US Mint be offering any kind of golden dollar "mini
bags" for sale? If so, how much?

As the heading says in parentheses, please accept my apology if another
message from me along these lines shows up. I posted last night and so
far, nothing. Thanks again, AOL, your NG reader must be related to
Monica Lewinski...

Never bought any bags so I am not a cartel person, but I do plan to
distribute (spend) as many Sac-a-bucks as I can get my paws on from the
bank. Being in retail in 1979, I got behind the ugly Susies but it
wasn't long before the public refused to take them in change. I soured
on them and still don't like them, but am hoping the Sackies will be
more popular. Here's hoping my bank gets with the program as in 1999 the
number of rolls of state quarters I got from the bank was nada, none,
zero.

If the mint sells mini-bags, I won't buy any at any kind of premium. A
mintage of 100 million sounds dirt common to me and 10.50 is a bit steep
for a little cloth bag. If the cartel jumps on the bags and makes a
profit, then more power to the cartel! Go for it.

Give me Sackies, give me two buck bills, s***the one buck bills!!!

Steve,
You local bank may not carry the Sacagaweas unless they receive orders for
them.  I've been encouraged to tell folks to place their orders now, so your
bank can get them from the Fed.
