22 no d experts, please

I could see no sign of a "D" with the *** eye, but with a 16x loupe and in
the camera image, I can see a shadow of a "D".

I have read many posts about the 1922 no "D", but now I have one die type in
my hand, so can someone explain again.

It seems to me that I have the "filled d" variety, rather than the "polished
off" variety.

TIA for any help.

Bill, It's the filled die or weak D. Die Pair 3. Only PCGS might slab it and
call it a No D weak reverse (which MIGHT sell to the uninformed) for 60% of the
balue of Die Pair 2, but in reality it's truly worth no more than about 10% of
a true No D.
