Where to sell in Michigan

Any help appreciated.

I have a couple of coins that I am looking to sell.  Primary one being
Double Eagle Saint-Guadens.  Any stores in the area (I'm in Macomb Twp)
that are reputable/honest.

Thanks,
Mark

I can't help you with MI, BUT the URL posted here isn't useful.  The
fact that someone is an ANA member doesn't mean JACK SHIT.  There are
boatloads of bankrupts and felons who boast ANA membership.

Can people that do not belong to the ANA be trusted?

No it will not.

Just go to

http://www.money.org

look under membership and click on the dealer directory.

You can enter a zip code to get local or just select your state from the
drop down menu.

Plain and simple, being an ANA member means nothing when it comes to
financial strength, previous bankruptcies or having felony convictions.
It should mean something, but it does not.

The flip side?  If someone is not an ANA member, can they be trusted?
It may mean that they couldn't see the "benefits" of membership (which
are so-so) and decided to keep their dues monies.  It may mean that the
dealer is one of the 200,000+ living former members of the ANA.

I would say that your chances of finding an honest non-member dealer
are just about as good as finding an honest member dealer, given the
track record of the ANA.  The ANA just wants your dues and anything
else, cash-wise, that they can extract from you.

I recommend taking some good scans of your coins and putting them on
eBay. You will get good money if you properly decribe your item in both
your title and in the body of the listing.
